Both based in the US, MARLON + AILEEN came home to tie the knot in front of God, family, and friends in a beautiful wedding celebration held at the Malate Church, while reception followed at the Century Park Hotel in Manila. Though we constantly stayed in touch online, we personally met the bride the day before the wedding. Since the start, you could feel how excited she was for her wedding. But what amazed me is the fact that for someone who’s based in the US for a long time, Aileen is still very fluent in Bisaya, and during the wedding, she was also very fluent in Chinese. Their close-knit families, on the other hand, had been so accommodating to us and very supportive of the couple. Here’s their wedding video by The Digital Eye.
As one quote would have it, love is not something you find; love is something that finds you. JONIS + DONNA know this all too well. Our Cebu-based couple have a lot of in common. For one, they are both doctors. Coincidence? Not really. There are no accidents in love. When it finds you, it will lead down the path to meet the one whom you are destined to be with for the rest of your life.
The couple tied the knot in a beautiful yet solemn wedding celebration that was well-attended by family and friends. The Pedro Calungsod Chapel wedding ceremony was very lovely, while the reception was a blast. In fact, some guests commented that it was the perfect, most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. And we could see why. The food was overflowing, the guests had a great time, and the décor by Accent Cagayan was beyond grand.
In behalf of the suppliers, we express our gratitude to the families of the couple for their hospitality and kindness; especially to Doc Mercy, the mother of the bride, who had been pretty hands-on since the planning. Likewise, to Hanna, the maid of honor and the groom’s sister whose support was all-out. Here’s Jonis + Donna’s beautiful wedding video lovingly made by The Digital Eye.

As they say, if something’s too good to be true, then it’s not true. In the case of ARVIN + CHOLYN, however, there is no such thing as ‘too good to be true’ for what they have found in each other is too good – it must be true.
Both lawyers, Cholyn is with the Public Attorney’s Office, while Arvin is the City Legal Officer of Dipolog. Experts in fighting for other people’s rights, they are now faced with their biggest case – fighting for their love. “I will continue to hold on to my promise of keeping with you faithfully throughout this lifetime. I will honor the vows I make today and hold you ever so fragile in my heart,” the groom declared.
The wedding was successful. Perfect, as people would say. It was quite apparent how well-loved they are by their loved ones, because despite the long journey to Bukidnon, the event was well-attended by family and friends who came all the way from USA, Qatar, Dipolog, and Pagadian; and prosecutors, lawyers, and judges from Zamboanga del Norte. All of them have gone out their way, literally and figuratively, to show the couple their love and support.
The Digital Eye is very grateful to have been blessed with wonderful clients like Arvin and Cholyn. It has been lovely working with them, just like having friends around in a fun shoot. We would also like to thank Dr. Cherrie Lou Pepino who had been present from our first meeting with the couple and all throughout the planning and preparation phases.
To Arvin and Cholyn, we have nothing but good words for the both of you. You are a match made in heaven and your wedding was nothing short of spectacular. We pray that you remain in love all the days of your love and wish you the best in your new journey “to a lifetime of love and adventure without end.” Congratulations!
They say that every #love story has its own challenges and triumphs. Many have tried, some have failed, while others succeed. Jun and Chrystel are no strangers to that, for theirs is a love story that has endured time, distance, and circumstance. In the words of the Bride to the Groom, “I love you when we are together, and when we are apart.”
Jun and Chrystel’s love story started in college; around the time when most people start to find ‘The One’ – although at that point, it was unbeknownst to them that they’re already looking at the one whom they will share their ‘life, love, laughter, and happily ever after’ with.
Like most couples, their story was not without tribulations. But even if the odds seemed to not always be in their favor, they have managed to not only stay afloat, but they have nurtured the love they have for each other despite the adversity. After all – for Jun and Chrystel – distance, time and circumstance did not matter; for in the end, love saw them through.
The Bride and Groom were fortunate to have amazing people on board to orchestrate such a magical #wedding, but it was the people dear to them who made the event even more special. Family and friends came in droves to show their love and support for Jun and Chrystel as they turn a new leaf.
The Bride was radiant in her stunning wedding dress, while the Groom looked dapper in his tailored suit. Everything was wonderful on that day, and the maid-of-honor summed it all up perfectly, “A wedding day will be remembered for all the joy it brings; a day of love and happiness, a day of new beginnings, learning what love truly means. Your wedding is just a start to many hopes and dreams.”
To Jun and Chrystel, we are honored to be part of your happily-ever-after, and we only have the best wishes for you on the new journey that you will be embarking as husband and wife. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
