Nothing worth having comes easy – and this couldn’t be any more true in the case of JOAN + MARK’s wedding. Just like their relationship, this Dubai-based couple wanted their wedding video to have genuine, unadulterated emotions with zero to minimal directing. And because we know a great love story when we see one, we took on challenge.

Just when we thought a change in strategy was the only thing we have to think of, the moody weather was also in question. Fast forward to the wedding day itself and yes, it did rain hard in the morning. Luckily, just before the bridal march started, the sky opened up and the rain ceased. It was as God was telling the couple ‘everything’s gonna be alright.’

Joan + Mark were a joy to work with. Surprisingly, it was a stress-free event for the team. The couple was so cool about anything, the guests were fun, and did we mention how beautiful Amarela Resort in Panglao Bohol is? Yup, gorgeous!

Before the wedding, the couple had been shuttling between Dubai and Baguio (Joan’s hometown) and Manila and Bohol. You can just imagine how much time and effort they had invested into their big day to make it a spectacular event.
