Wedding Trailer: Matthew & Jocelyn

The New Year brings with it a renewed sense of hope to be bigger, bolder, better than we’ve ever been. 2015 had been great for The Digital Eye; we met some of the most amazing couples and took part in their wonderful journeys. It was also the time we met JOCELYN + MATT who are set to wed on January 16 in Singapore. With a love story as beautiful as the azure sea, it is but fitting to have Movenpick Resort Mactan as the backdrop for them to tell their love story. The Digital Eye is proud to present JOCELYN + MATT’s Wedding Trailer.

The Digital Eye SHOW REEL 2015

THIS IS NOT JUST A SHOW REEL.

This is but a faint glimpse of all the love, trust, and support that all of you have afforded us all these years. As we look back, we couldn’t help but be humbled and grateful at how far we have come. We couldn’t have done it without all of you, our brides and grooms, and all our fellow suppliers who have been with us in our journey. Here’s to all of you!

RYAN + YANI: Same Day Edit

“I promise you that I will hold you, cherish you, and give you my heart; that I shall support you and care for you. Faithfully, I shall always stand steadfast regardless of what life would bring us,” vowed the bride. “I cannot promise you that tomorrow will be perfect or that life will be easy; I can only promise you my everlasting devotion, loyalty, respect, and my unconditional love,” replied the groom.

RYAN + YANI tied the knot in an exquisite wedding celebration that will be remembered for a long time. Our US Navy groom looked dapper in his suit, while our beautiful bride, who is a US-based nurse, was a vision in white. It was a well-attended affair; the groom’s family came all the way from Manila and California, while the bride’s came from Bukidnon and Florida to witness the couple’s union.

Booze was overflowing, food was plentiful, fun was never ending, and laughter was nonstop from cocktail hour up to the last minute of the event. The reception was so fun that nobody wanted to go home – people were still dancing up until the final moments! Everyone had loads of fun including the suppliers. In fact, some got tipsy which very rarely happens.

So far, it was one of the grandest weddings we’ve covered. Every detail was lovely and well thought out. Accent CDO, the wedding stylist, did their magic and created a grand chandelier that moves. The couple also rented a 9×14 LED wall from SKT Bacolod. But despite the grandness of the event, it was the love of RYAN + YANI that took centerstage. Here’s their wedding vide lovingly made by The Digital Eye.

MARLON + AILEEN: Same Day Edit

W

Both based in the US, MARLON + AILEEN came home to tie the knot in front of God, family, and friends in a beautiful wedding celebration held at the Malate Church, while reception followed at the Century Park Hotel in Manila. Though we constantly stayed in touch online, we personally met the bride the day before the wedding. Since the start, you could feel how excited she was for her wedding. But what amazed me is the fact that for someone who’s based in the US for a long time, Aileen is still very fluent in Bisaya, and during the wedding, she was also very fluent in Chinese. Their close-knit families, on the other hand, had been so accommodating to us and very supportive of the couple. Here’s their wedding video by The Digital Eye.

JONIS + DONNA: Same Day Edit

As one quote would have it, love is not something you find; love is something that finds you. JONIS + DONNA know this all too well. Our Cebu-based couple have a lot of in common. For one, they are both doctors. Coincidence? Not really. There are no accidents in love. When it finds you, it will lead down the path to meet the one whom you are destined to be with for the rest of your life.

The couple tied the knot in a beautiful yet solemn wedding celebration that was well-attended by family and friends. The Pedro Calungsod Chapel wedding ceremony was very lovely, while the reception was a blast. In fact, some guests commented that it was the perfect, most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. And we could see why. The food was overflowing, the guests had a great time, and the décor by Accent Cagayan was beyond grand.

In behalf of the suppliers, we express our gratitude to the families of the couple for their hospitality and kindness; especially to Doc Mercy, the mother of the bride, who had been pretty hands-on since the planning. Likewise, to Hanna, the maid of honor and the groom’s sister whose support was all-out. Here’s Jonis + Donna’s beautiful wedding video lovingly made by The Digital Eye.
